Strewn — Inspired by Terroir
Strewn opened its doors in 1997 and from its beginnings has been committed to – and inspired by – the expression of Terroir or 'sense of place'.
You will find it reflected in the wine and in the menus at the recreational cooking school and OLiV, the onsite restaurant.
Located minutes from the 'old town' or heritage district of Niagara-on-the-Lake, the 10-acre property has orchards and vineyards on two sides and Four Mile Creek on another. The original building was an active fruit cannery during the 1940s and has been transformed into a unique wine and culinary destination. At the heart are award-winning VQA wines, crafted to enhance the dining experience or be enjoyed on their own. Discover them for yourself in the tasting room or through periodic tasting events, wine-education seminars, special events and hands-on winery activities. You can purchase wines at the wine boutique, at LCBO outlets or through Strewn's Online Store>>.
Single varietal releases include Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Chardonnay, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Blanc and Gewurztraminer. In addition, Strewn produces several blends including the popular TwoVines Riesling Gewurztraminer and the flagship red Strewn Three. All are available onsite and through the online store.
Group, private and seated tastings available by pre-booking. Wine tasting experiences are by reservation.
